Finishing strong where we started....

Our last trip out to Kennedale Speedway Park was a good one.  Starting in 16th spot in our final race we were able to get as high as 6th.  Unfortunately a break rotor failure 2/3 of the way through the feature relegated us to 10th.  Although it was disappointing I cannot honestly say how proud of I  was of this finish.  It was our best of the season but our strongest run as far as being a competative car.  I can't thank all of our sponsors, friends, and family enough that have helped us along this season, truly without all of your support I would not have made it to the track period.

I would like to Thank all those listed below for all your support and encouragment thanks.

Thank you to my personal heroes, team founders and beloved family members Joe V. Morales and Yvette Chapa we miss you and will never forget you.

Back to 85 Speedway in Ennis....
After a couple of weeks of tooling on the race car and trying to figure out how to get the tight out of it, Mojo racing will be back in Action at 85 Speedway this weekend.  We've made some pretty radical suspension adjusments to better help the handling of the car so come on out to see if we can improve on what to date has been our best finishing position...10th.  The team once again would like to thank all of our sponsors and individuals who have helped us out this season.

Reliability a huge factor at 85 speedway

The Mojo crew made a trip out to 85 speedway in Ennis this past Saturday night.  It was a long and drawn out night but we had a decent finishing spot and a car we didn't have to make major repairs to once the night was finished!!!  We started out tight in the heat race so the team made whole sale changes based upon the recomendations of Cody aka (iamsupaman).  The car was much more free for the feature and late in the race the car was more and more comfortable and we were starting to run down the two cars ahead of us but just ran out of laps.  Several cars has mechanical issues which allowed us to sneak into a 10th place finish.  All and all it was yet another constructive night for our young team.  We hope to be back out at either 85 or Kennedale Speedway Park mid August. Thanks for all the support and encouragement Mojo Fans!!

Back to Racing!!!
Hey Mojo Racing fans!! The team will be back at Kennedale Speedway Park next week Thursday July 3rd.  It will be our first time out in a month and we look to have a solid night of competition.  Armed with new wheels and front bumper and various chassis adjustments the team hopes to make some noise! If all goes well at Kennedale on Thursday the team will be making the trip down to Heart O'Texas Speedway Friday to race on the 4th!!!  So please come out to cheer us on!!  Thanks Mojo fans and sponsors.

A promising night ends badly....

04-26-08

The night started well for Misfit Motorsports. We made the feature race of the night yet again! Starting from the 26th position (dead last) we surprised even our fans as we were able to carve our way through the field up into the top 10!! The car was amazing.... turning well and getting tremendous amounts of forward bite out of the corner in racing terms it was a rocket. We were running so well we were passing cars two at a time early in the race.
However all that good came to a very abrupt end when a fellow competitor did not show any patience with our car and helped us into the front stretch wall. First of all the driver is okay but the car didn't fair as well I'm sad to say. The car suffered extensive damage to the rear end housing as well and destroying two wheels and various other suspension parts. Work is already underway to get us back to the track, but it will take some time. We are shooting for a May 17th return to the track if all goes well. Again we would like to thank all who came out to see us, and all who have donated to our team we really could not do this without you.
